Waterwatch excursion
In 2015-16 students assisted with a Communities for Nature project to revegetate the Alpine wetland next to the school. It was a joint initiative with Falls Creek Resort Management involving watercourse management, weed removal and replanting. The school’s contribution was to plant 2,400 native plants.
Over the years, the students have occasionally been extremely privileged to be invited to see some Mountain Pygmy Possums on Mt McKay when Resort Management organises a survey of the endangered pygmy possum in the resort.
